Originally released in 2004, the 'wheat' Air Jordan 13 sees a re-release almost two decades since it first hit shelves.
The AJ13 was Michael Jordan's on-court shoe for the '97-'98 season, taking him to his sixth championship in style with a design which Tinker Hatfield created with inspiration from MJ's 'Black Cat' nickname. The outsole's shape resembles a panther's paw and the distinctly dimpled quarter panel drew inspiration from a panther's muzzle. Perhaps the most iconic feature on the XIII is the holographic medallions on the heel and outsole, with shimmering green colours that represent the shining effect created by the tapetum lucidum in their eye.
